Can I Pause Your Scrolling Fingers?

Maybe it’ll be enough to break through the milliseconds you spend skimming this email. Maybe. Just maybe…

Fractions of seconds compound into full seconds and—if I’m lucky and blessed and it’s Virgo season—you’re in a moment of need, and you remember something I’ve shared…and it helps.

Let me explain.

Let’s say a buddy of yours is complaining about someone they hired for ads or websites or logos, and your subconscious throws The Wonder Jam back into your mind. You say “you should talk to The Wonder Jam…”

You don’t really know why, it’s just a feeling.

This is the power of marketing. How can we pause the scrolling? How can we embed ourselves into the minds of those who will potentially talk about us?

Four or five times a week, someone walks through our new client application because so-and-so mentioned The Wonder Jam. Even more of you chat, tweet, DM, listen, and read something that we’re wanting to share with you.

Here’s the thing. Our blog, emails, social posts, and podcast episodes aren’t about the ROI (trust me). You’ve been pausing for the past six years to read our content, listen to our podcast, or just see what we’re creating these days. You’ve shared it with a friend or you’ve messaged us to say hey.

And guess what? It works.

So, now it’s your turn. If you’d like me to pause to consider something you’d like to share, hit reply. I promise to read and consider and respond.

It’s hard to prove if the extra effort is worth it, but you and I both know it is.
